Greg Smith
Greg joined Bremworth as the new Chief Executive Officer in 2021. Greg has extensive international business experience, running iconic New Zealand companies and helping them to scale on the world stage. He was with Icebreaker for 8 years, holding position of CEO and Brand President for almost 4 years. Prior to that, Greg held senior executive roles at Michael Hill Jeweller for over 21 years.
Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary
Victor Tan
Victor is a long standing member of the Bremworth team, having joined in 1984 just after the Company listed on the NZSE. He worked in various finance roles within the Group before being appointed CFO and Company Secretary in 2004. Following a three year hiatus from the CFO role, he was reappointed in December 2017. Victor is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (FCIS).
GM Global Marketing, Product and Digital Business
Rochelle Flint
Rochelle joined Bremworth in 2013 and has over 19 years’ experience in the flooring industry in a diverse range of roles from sales, key account management and marketing through to product development. She has also spent considerable time in the Australian market in her previous role as GM Marketing and International Operations. She was appointed to her current role in December 2021 and has responsibility for group product development and marketing as well as supercharging our digital business. Rochelle holds a Bachelor of Business Marketing & Management.

Dean Chandler
Dean joined Bremworth in 2004, working for the Norman Ellison Carpets business for nine years before moving to a role with Bremworth. As GM Sales New Zealand, Dean is responsible for leading the strategic direction with major channel partners, managing the development of a high performing sales team and training. He has over 20 years’ experience in the flooring market, across residential and commercial segments as well as retail, and has built strong relationships with our key channels. Dean holds a BCA in Commercial Law and Management.
GM Health & Safety, People and Sustainability
Dr Kirstine Hulse
Kirstine joined Bremworth in July 2019 and has over 17 years’ experience in a diverse range of roles in high risk industries. She has particular expertise in process optimisation and integration of health & safety, environmental and product quality into everyday operations, as well as adopting digital innovation into health and safety. Kirstine is responsible for the strategic direction of health & safety, people and sustainability for Bremworth. She holds a Bachelor of Chemical & Materials Engineering (Hons) and a Doctor of Philosophy in process engineering from the University of Auckland.
GM Yarn Plants
Andrew Karl
Andrew is another longstanding member of the Bremworth team, having joined our Auckland plant in 1987 before relocating to Whanganui in 1988. He began his textile career in 1984 as a management cadet, gaining experience in all facets of yarn and carpet manufacturing including specialising in dyeing and wet yarn finishing processes along the way. Before moving into his current GM Yarn Plants role in 2021, Andrew held other positions such as Group Health and Safety Manager and Whanganui Plant Manager. He holds qualifications in Textile Materials and Processing, Quality Assurance and Health and Safety.
GM Wool Procurement
Shane Eades
Shane started his career in the wool industry, before joining the business which became Elco Direct, in 1994. He has worked across the industry as a branch manager, wool buyer and within a wool scouring business. He moved to his current position with Elco Direct in 2017 and has responsibility for negotiating the sale of wool lots to customers both in New Zealand and across the globe. Shane has strong, long standing relationships with wool growers and remains involved in all aspects of the business. He holds qualifications in Wool and Wool Technology.
GM Tufting Plant
Jason Howearth
Jason joined Bremworth in 1986 and has over 30 years’ experience in carpet manufacturing having started on the factory floor and learned every aspect of the process as he progressed in his career. In 2007 Jason completed the Apparel and Textile Industry Training Organisation – Carpet and Yarn Cadetship Programme and holds qualifications in Textile Manufacture and Supervisory Management. Jason has held the positions of Supervisor, Quality Assurance Manager, Assistant Technical Manager and Production Manager before being appointed the Plant Manager role in 2015.
GM Logistics, Procurement & International Operations
Garth Clarke
Garth has been with Bremworth for over 20 years in a variety of roles across the business including Supply Chain Manager and Logistics Manager. In 2021, he moved into his current role as GM role where his core focus is on growing Bremworth's international markets as well as consumer-focused products such as rugs. Garth holds qualifications with the Association for Supply Chain Management, CPIM and CLTD.
Information Technology Manager
Trevor Jones
Trevor joined Bremworth in 2013, bringing with him extensive experience in developing and implementing manufacturing companies’ digital strategies. He previously held similar roles with other iconic New Zealand and international companies and specialises in Enterprise Systems, project management and industry 4.0. Trevor holds a Bachelor of Commerce IT Hons and has undertaken other postgraduate qualifications.
