We are seeking a self-motivated, proactive Partnerships rep to join our Commercial Sales team reporting to our National Commercial Manager - Australia, Kylie Cramery.

You'll be responsible for closing sales and generating invoices with contractors, builders, developers, retailers and other key stakeholders. This position involves building strong partnerships and promoting the company's carpet products to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage a robust specification pipeline.
- Engage with contractors, builders, developers and key decision-makers.
- Conduct market research on industry trends, competitor positions and customer preferences.
- Deliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations.
- Establish understanding of all relevant stakeholders for each project.
- Develop and implement sales strategies for the VIC territory.
- Prepare regular sales activity and market insight reports.
- Provide training and support on suitable product solutions.
How your success will be measured:
Success in this role will be measured through the achievement of sales and revenue growth targets for the Victoria state territory. Effectively managing the specification pipeline and increasing the value and overall volume of converted projects that move to invoice is crucial, along with effective client engagement, acquiring new clients, and maintaining high-quality interactions with existing ones is essential.
The skills and experience we need you to bring:
- Minimum 3 years’ or equivalent experience in sales or partnerships within the construction or building industry.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Proficiency in CRM software
- A good understanding of the project tendering process
- In-depth knowledge of the construction and building industry, including key players, trends, and market dynamics
