"WE'RE ON A MISSION TO LEAD THE WAY IN DELIVERING EXPERIENCES BUILT WITH PEOPLE, THE PLANET, AND GROWTH IN MIND."
Bremworth was formed and listed on the New Zealand stock exchange in 1984. Today, its key activities involve a broadloom carpet and rug manufacturing business, and a wool procurement business, Elco Direct. Bremworth has more than 3300 shareholders and over 280 employees throughout New Zealand and Australia.
Bremworth Carpets

Bremworth operates a broadloom carpet business. In July 2020 Bremworth announced an historic change to stop manufacturing synthetic carpet and transition to an all-wool and natural fibre interior company. With over 60 years of experience in the carpet business, Bremworth’s ingenuity to innovate with natural materials aims to make homes more sustainable, safer and more desirable places to live. Bremworth carpets are serviced by yarn spinning plants in Napier and Whanganui and a carpet tufting plant in Auckland. Bremworth has major distribution centres in Auckland and Sydney and has representation across New Zealand and Australia.

Bremworth Rugs

Bremworth offers a range of beautiful rugs with exceptional design and luxurious textures, made with 100% New Zealand wool. From the convenience of the online Bremworth Rug Shop, customers can customise their rug to suit their tastes by selecting their preferred style, colour, size, shape and edge finish. New Zealand.

Wool procurement

Elco Direct deals directly with wool growers and is one of the largest wool buyers in New Zealand. Value-add services include wool pick-up and wool shed clean-outs, taking everything from the main clip to oddments and dags.
