RIPPLES IN AWARD WINNING SHOWHOME

Bringing nature indoors was a key inspiration for the design, especially when it came to choosing flooring that would give a warm and welcoming feeling.

Design Builders Wellington Managing Partner Mark Davidge carefully selected the Bremworth Ripples carpet range made from New Zealand wool with a chunky loop texture.

"Bremworth was chosen as we wanted to support NZ business, loved the product and the visual delight it brought. We purposely kept the walls and ceilings neutral so that textures like the carpet would pop."

The home took out three awards at the Registered Master Builders 2021 House of the Year Awards:

- Regional Gold, GIB Show Home category
- Regional Category Winner, Wellington & Wairarapa
- Top 100 national award.
